    As known in my monitoring tool, take care about the oscillations: if you're right on a threshold, you could send thousand of alerts... irrelevant and could be expensive on different levels.

    Hi,

    As tweeted, I like the philosophy around the GELF format ( https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog2-docs/wiki/GELF ) but any JSON structure should be OK.

    But exporting is also responding to a query (HTTP, REST, ...) or pushing data frequently (SNMP, XMPP, command line, flat file append, ...) somewhere ?
